MAGNET PROGRAM
The Westlake Magnet Program seeks to provide an environment that celebrates and cultivates each student’s unique worth, dignity, and ability. The magnet experience empowers highly capable students, encouraging them to interact with their intellectual peers in academic, creative, aesthetic, and social endeavors. Ultimately, magnet students will not only develop the skills necessary to succeed academically but will also grow into life-long learners, responsible citizens, and contributors to the betterment of society.

Mission
The mission of the Westlake Magnet Program is to provide an exemplary, holistic educational program that produces students who are:

Vision
To provide an educational experience for students that exceeds that of their peers through:

Setting and monitoring higher academic performance expectations focusing on the Mathematics and Sciences

Providing co-curricular opportunities through S.T.E.A.M. that exposes its students to the application of the skills and knowledge they are acquiring as they matriculate
