Rising Junior
Course Selection Process

Planning for your scholar’s junior and senior year is an exciting opportunity to align their academic journey with future goals. As part of this process, we ask families to review the courses their scholar would like to take and ensure selections align with the Magnet Program’s requirements and expectations.

 

To assist with scheduling, please complete the Rising Junior Course Request Form and submit a signed hard copy to the Magnet Program Coordinator by Tuesday, January 21st.  

 

If the form is not submitted by the deadline, counselors will select courses based on availability. Additionally, if the requested courses do not meet Magnet Program requirements, counselors and the program's coordinator will adjust schedules to ensure compliance with program expectations. Please note that advanced courses often fill quickly, so timely submission is essential to secure preferred courses.
